Designer Liner is a concentrated clay based pigment that can be used to create designs, outlines, stripes, dots, lines, words and squiggles.
It can be applied directly on clay, bisque or over other glazes.
So long as not put applied on to a runny glaze it will result in clean and crisp lines.
Cones 05/06 recommended but can go to cone 10
Needs a clear or transparent glaze over the top to be dinner safe.

Bottle Prep :

Prior to first use, punch a hole in the tip of the plastic screw cap using the writer tip provided. The metal writer tip is threaded and will snuggly fit on the tip of the screw cap. DO NOT CUT the plastic tip or make the tip opening larger tan the thickness of the metal screw cap.

Applying Colour :

Shake the bottle to force colour down into the tip. Ti initiate product flow, lightly squeeze product through the writer tip onto a paper towel. Use steady, even pressure to begin your detailing. Apply onto bisque or unfired glaze, and then apply a clear glaze over the top.

Use with a liner brush for fine outlining or brushstroked.

Storage:

Place the straight metal pin into the metal writer tip to keep it clog free. If not going to use for a while remove the metal writer tip and reattach the white plastic tip to the screw cap - and soak the metal writer tip in warm water.
