CALCIUM BORATE FRIT

The simplest material to replace with in glaze recipes, and seems to work well for most people, is Gillespie Borate (unlike Gerstley Borate the Gillespie Borate is a consistent product as it is blended)

For every 100gm of Calcium Borate Frit that you take out of your recipe you would replace it as follows:-

Gillespie Borate add 167gm

Quartz increase by 10gm

Whiting reduce by 12gm

Pot Feldspar reduce by 26gm                            Though test test test.
