Designed for beads but can take a few hanging items on each bar - recommend high biscuit and then using the rods low glaze fire. Recommend under 1110oC no soak. If have to go past put on low weights and fire quickly once past 1000oC and no soak

Although we do not recommend firing to 1200oc - we have customers who do so without a soak and although they get a little bending they say the bars do cope.

We strongly recommend supporting the firing stand bars and the 2 mm  and 3 mm "Round Bars" every 50mm or so.  Do not soak below 1100oC as the metal will be at a transition temperature and will bend.

REFRACTORY/FIRING

At a small charge we can cut down from any of the square / rectangular shelves but cannot cut down circular batts.    We can get other sizes, but to get our usual good price we would need 3 months advance notice at least.


We sometimes have odd sizes in (i.e. 14” x 11” or 10 1/2” circular) so it is worth asking.
