Pink to Buff

Very Coarse Open Texture.Suitable for pizza ovens, raku, large sculptures, saggers and hand built items. This fireclay based body uses graded corderite grog and has very low shrinkage of only 2%, making it highly resistant to warping, cracking and shock. Due to the large particle size of the grog it can "spit out".

The Earthstone Paper Clays include finely chopped fibres of flax and cellulose which helps to produce very forgiving clay bodies offering potters

 a wide range of making options. Suitable for raku, oxidation, salt and soda. It is a strong, flexible lightweight clay with virtually no mould growth in comparison to other makes. The greenware re-wets easily allowing re-work, altering and adding new clay at any stage of dryness.

Greenware even bone dry is unbelievably strong and easy to handle and transport.
